I can think of one particular photographer whose work I like even though he's no longer living. His name is George Hurrell and he took photos of movie stars from Hollywood's Golden Age. His subjects always looked glamorous. I prefer that type of photography to many of the styles I see today where celebrities are posed in rather ridiculous situations or they just plain look ugly in their shots.

Annie Leibowitz is amazing.Terrance Donavan and David Bailey were two pioneering celebrity photographers

Liebowitz is the best.
Youll find a lot of great shooters here who've done celebrities. there's a field in the search for celebrities photogs.
