i have alot of itching/buring which came in a matter of mins and it seems very dry down there. the only way it feels alittle better is if i try to sit with my legs spread apart (sounds weird) i have no discharge at all though. my mom has premarin, should i try using this?

Don't take premarin unless a doctor advises you to.

There is a test from Vagisil available at drugstores which will tell you whether or not you have a yeast infection. If it says you do, you can use OTC yeast infection treatments to clear it up. Otherwise, it is probably a bacterial infection, and you need to see a doctor for some antibiotics.

Well, usually yeast infections involve discharge...so maybe you don't have one. Try showering, then sleeping with no underwear for the night and see if it's better in the morning. If not, I'd see your doc. If it's nothing internal, just external itching, I wouldn't try home remedies, as they might make things worse.
