Even though this was asked a couple of weeks ago, and I wasn't able to answer with my opinion, I will give you mine.
Vitor Meira.
He is always so grateful for his crew, and is never one to make irrational decisions on the race track. I love how he has a very quiet demeanor about him, and never wants to be in the spotlight. I admire him greatly for the person that he is, and even if he never wins a race in his IndyCar career, I will always remember the impact he has had on my life as a fan.
We've been on a first name basis for three years now, and I have even talked to him on the phone a couple of times, and even though he knows I'm his BIGGEST fan, he still takes the time out to chat with me, no matter if my toenails are painted the color of his car or if I'm wearing my Meira shorts.

Helio - a class act who sincerely enjoys meeting with the fans and doing the little things that must be accomplished week-to-week to try and market the series.

I am a Vitor fan also you are correct he is just an all around nice guy.
I work at The Kansas Speedway and when these guys come in town some are snooty and some are nice but overall the drivers are great people, except Danica she is just always pissed off at someone. Then let's not forget Sara Fisher, these ladies have put IRL in the light.
Ahh but be careful wearing your shorts this year if you want to get into the garages or on Hot Pit as they are changing up their rules at IRL. they will NOT allow shorts, open toed shoes, or sleeveless shirts anymore, they tried last year and this year they are clamping down.

Marco Andretti. He is the yougest IRL driver out there. He had a sophmore slump last season, but he almost won the Indy 500 as a rookie!!! I bet that he is going to do great during the 08 season though!!! Vitor is definatly in my top 3 though!!!

Vitor Meira? A surprise choice, but a good one. He doesn't seem full of himself. Good selection. I might add to the list Sarah Fisher. She's soft spoken with a lot of talent. It's a shame her equipment is always a couple of years old.

I was always a Mears Gang fan..but theres no more Mears in Indy cars (sad) I have followed Helio Castroneves from the beginning I really like him....I was a Eddie Cheever fan in F1 I just wish he could have done better in IRLYes he won the Indy 500 I was glad I was there to see it, I just wish his team could have gotten it together better and had more wins..But for now I'm a Helio fan...gotta love spiderman climb the fence when he wins...what are they going to do if he wins dancing with the Stars they are going to have to put a fence up so he can climb it...its tradition when he wins...come on ABC.....Hey your fav Vitor is a great guy..yes his time will come..He has the talent.. (hey keep wearing his colors) you are a true fan..

Vitor signed my Duff beer hat at TMS. I can't answer this question, as it would take me too long to tell which drivers, and why. I just appreciate the fact that they can go 220mph, and not touch wheels. Otherwise, they have a nasty accident. ALL drivers in the IRL are underappreciated. Maybe Helio is giving a rebirth to the sport, thanks to Dancing with the Stars !!

Danica is my fave but I dont mind most of the other drivers, Helio always has a smile on his face, Dixon just gets on with the job, TK is always up for a joke. The worst ones are Weldon whos is always whining about anything and Marco Andretti who is nothing but a spoilt brat.
