They get free education, just ask Savage, they protested outside his station when he brought up the fact that 500 had free college educations and what about American kids. the whole problem is that if you ask anyone that came from the countries the illegals one comes from they will tell you NO! Why in the world did they go to all the trouble to wait over 5 years and abide by the law and bring their families in. It's a slap in their faces and I know many. oNe thing the bleeding hearts don't think about is that the criminal element goes where they can be understood and commit crimes in areas where they blend in whether they are Brazilian or Russian, it's a know fact. If the idiots on Cap Hill would take care of the situation instead of hollering "amnesty" and creating a flood, we might have a chance to naturalize some of these folks, but as it stands you got them, then 8-9 million a year from all over the world that we let legally come here on visas, then once the visa expires 3 million of them break the law and hide out. Mexicans have been coming to America since she was formed and they are apart of America and have fought in our wars.

Unfortunately we as a nation can not take everyone in or the boat will sink. So if the Mexican government would close it's southern border and help it might be a chance. By the way in 2005 they (BP) caught about 800,000 trying to come in and 1 in 7 was from a terror sponsoring country, you understand or over 100,000 and I have nothing against those countries or say Germany, but the law is the law and without law you have anarchy plain and simple.

I hear you. Americans are a very giving people, and sometimes that goes way too far. I can only say we have ourselves to blame. I sure hope this issue will reach a certain conclusion.
I wish it was as simple as teaching them to write a complete sentence in English, but they don't want to learn English. Anyone who lives amongst them knows that. I realize the way to deal with the criminals could be to educate them and offer them some dignity, but they totally refuse to cooperate. I mean, this dude comes to my door, speaking Spanish, and needs my help, but he won't speak English. What's worst, he assumes I understand him, or I should know Spanish. Fact is I speak 7 languages, but none of them is Spanish, so forgive me, but I think, since we live in the USA, he should make the effort, no? The benefits are appealing, but you're too proud to learn English? Some people are rightfully put off by that.
I personally think they would gain so much more respect if they showed a little more cooperation!!!
And what the heck? I call this company and I hear a message in Spanish first, and then English? Where are we??? have I crossed some border w/out knowing?
If I move to Mexico, I better damn well learn some Spanish, no? I have no problem with that, but what about them? What, no pride?

You can't give an illegal citizenship. They need a permanent resident card first and then after 5 years they can apply for naturalization.
