since the majority of you think you have a devine right to qualify for every major tournament. wouldn't it be better if you get fifa, uefa to give you special dispensation, and an automatic bye into the final, and then the rest of the teams play in a competition, and whoever wins that, plays you for the title.
it would solve an awful lot of problems ???

You sir are not an informed person. Apparently the English FA is in talks with FIFA asking them to waive the entry requirement for EURO Tournament 2008. England wants a re-match with Croatia on the grounds that the Wembley pitch was not up to international standard.
Please note the awkward bounce of the ball (1st goal; video capture) as Scot Carson tried in vain to catch the ball. Apparently, the ground was 'too bumpy', hence not conducive to fair play ("For the Good of The Game", remember?)
Referee erred when Rooney's shirt was pulled by a Croatian defender in the Penalty Box. Huh... didn't he play? O-o-h... sorry it was our other Wayne. Anyway, we can't allow children from all over the world to watch an obvious infringement without getting punished for it. Once again, "For the Good of The Game!"
Finally, in the interest of the tournament, we strongly believe that worldwide interest would drop substantially without England in the Alpine countries. Think about "live broadcast" earnings. And don't ever forget FIFA's laudable slogan: "For The Good of The Game".
In the interest of Fairplay, we humbly go down on our knees (McClaren has agreed to this wholeheartedly) that our request be granted. YOU GOTTA GIVE US ANOTHER SHOT, DAMMIT... i mean please....

is this because Scotland have a divine right not to qualify don't worry about the English try to get your own team playing better then you might qualify.
The trouble is Scottish football has got very little money or any decent teams with the exception of Celtic and Rangers, who i believe would struggle in the premiership

England didn't deserve to go through. They played very poorly, and not just in the Croatia match. I'm English as well, so my opinions not biased. Yes i am disappointed we didn't make it through, but that's it I'm not going to complain about it, because there's nothing to complain about. We were beaten fair and square.

But it wouldn't solve the problem related to the fact that this isn't a question, so it qualifies as a rant. If you are going to rant, stay off Answers. OK? No, I won't report you .... this time.

lol .i cant understand what the problem is,England only play to make everyone else look a good side....it works too ...sorry i am English born and bred but not a footy fan ,i cannot see why all those grown men want to chase a ball around an often muddy pitch and then kiss each other when one manages (on the odd rare occasion) to get the ball into the net.Mind you rugby is worse.that is played by men with odd shaped balls :¬0
