This is silly but I used to have a real phobia about going down escalators. I thought I would trip if I stepped onto it too slowly. It freaked me out for a long time, and then I just used elevators. But I got over my phobia by just clutching onto the handrails and just DOING it. I think it's more fun too. I think that riding in a glass elevator is even better!

Escalators because you can play on them more, and plus there's a whole lot more room to mess around and there's more people for you to bug since an elevator only holds so many

Elevators. i'm frightened of escalators. i have considered human beings's pants get stuck in them and considered the phobia of their eyes as they ought to "disrobe" contained in the midst of the mall. it truly isn't any longer something i opt for to ensue. i will not stroll up and down the steps because I surely have had knee replacements that are crap. The elevator is the safest and wisest decision for me. If i'm getting stuck i have consistently were given a cellular telephone and that i have consistently were given a valium in my handbag for emergencies (no funny tale!!!). I prefer an escalator for several reasons: you can look around at the scenery, you can walk up or down to speed things up, and it never smells funny.
