i think the lebron and the cavs can finish no. 3 at best and no. 5 at worst. i think they compete at the same level with the pistons if not better.
you have to give the top 2 spots to the celts and magic. i dont think they'll hit a bump unless some of their players get injured especially the top 2 mvp contenders dwight howard and kevin garnett.
i think the cavs are in a good position because some of the playoff contenders last year are playing bad (bulls, heat).
and i think they'll be playing much better if they re-sign anderson varejao who has adopted very well to their playing style.
