It's up to the probation department and the state he wants to move to. Probation can be transferred, but neither his current PO has to allow it, and the probation department where you want to move is not obligated to accept it. But, you just have to ask.

Now, even if transferred, he is still on probation where he got into trouble. The place where you move would just be supervising him for the original PO. If he didn't follow the conditions of the probation, the supervising PO would likely send it back to the original place of probation, and you would have to move back.

He MAY leave the state AFTER he consults with his PO in his current state. Then his PO will find him another PO in
Texas. Anytime a person on probation wants to move/reloate, he has to notify his PO or otherwise he violates his porbation and may be subject to an arrest.

I think he could get into alot of trouble if he leaves the state. If he leaves the state and he is not supposed to they can arrest him again for that. He needs to talk to his probation officer and find out what his limitations are.

He has to meet with his Probation Officer and see what he will/can allow.

He can't even leave the county without permission of the PO. The Po would have to approve it.
