Gotta agree with Chipmaker. As an older fan, I'm familiar with Don Mossi, and he would be very hard to top.

In his reference to Hal Chase, Chase was a blatant cohort of many unsavory characters, particularly gamblers, and actually made no secret of the fact that he was more concerned with money than anything else.

I'd have to cast my vote to Otis Nixon. He played centerfield for the Braves in the early 90's. I'm willing to cast another vote for him as the ugliest man in professional sports history. I guess my vote would only cover my generation though as there are probably uglier people who have played sports throughout the years.

Did somebody seriously answer Chase Utley!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoever answered Chase Utley must be on drugs......anyway, i don't know who is the ugliest but if you go by ugly actions then Barry Bonds tops the list

In terms of character, probably Hal Chase, but that's just among the players. Many owners were (or are) far worse.

Physical appearance, it's pretty hard to beat Don Mossi without having some skin disease. Go ahead and do an image search on his name.
