Does any one know of any other data symbols or how I could find them?

Assuming you are specifically looking for volatility indexes, there is a list of them at

If you are looking for other indexes in general, go to

http://www.cboe.com/micro/IndexSites.aspx

With all indexes, Yahoo requires a "^" character before the three character index name to get a quote.
