I sat at home with my cat and watched tv and slept. Didn't even eat anything until after 3p.m. and that was nachos. No family around and no one ask. I don't like big crowds of people anyway and I have no parents, siblings, etc, and my husband is stationed out of the country. Lonely year.

However, I still have several things to be thankful for and that's really what's it all about isn't it? I'm sitting here with bladder cancer and out of control diabetes, I am worst off than many and better off than many. Either way, I am still blessed.

False. I've never had a thanksgiving dinner, I live in Australia.

Although, I'd love to have one. It sounds really good.

I spent my Thanksgiving with my family and had Turducken (a turkey inside a duck inside a chicken). The food was really good and we had a lot of fun.

True. My family and I (my aunt, older cousins who aren't that old, my uncle, a family friend, my mom, and my grandpa) were at my grandpa's house, hanging out, either watching sports or playing Guitar Hero (we got addicted), then played pool, and ate the usual Thanksgiving foods, which were quite delicioso (partly excluding me, I didn't eat the turkey, since I'm a vegetarian, the only one in my family). A few family members couldn't make it, though. My dad couldn't, but he never can, too busy with his alchohol and his other, more recent family; my grandma and step-grandma, my grandma's dead and my step-grandma broke up with my grandpa; I have half-siblings I never see; and an aunt/uncle/two cousins.

True!!! I spent it with my mom, brother, grandma, grandpa, aunt, and great-grandpa! My dad didn't come though, because my parents are divorced. = ( That sucked. But besides that...the food was awesome! We had turkey, ham, pistachio salad, cranberry sauce, crasaunts, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin/pecan/apple pie...it was just all around really good! And I spent it with my family. I had a pretty good time. But I really missed my daddy.

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving. I doubt if the Natives Americans do either.
