I have an older version (not really old) and i thought i would upgrade, but i don't want to if it is going to erase all of my songs i already have in my library! Help please!

Do you really think iTunes would let that happen? It would be extremely bad for business, don't you think? Any upgrade will not erase songs you have already bought.

It shouldn't. I have updated iTunes every time there is a new version and all my songs are still intact. Good luck!
