It's worse when you think you are the first person answering and with the correct answer but then 30 other people get it in before you do, and I am not even a slow typer!

I hate that as well. But I tend to answer anyway so I can get my 2 points. I just hope that some people will take the time out to read all the answers to the question even if they run past the first page.

Doesn't matter at all. Am surprised at the # of best answers I've received from questions with a minimum of 30 answers.
Won't answer the question if I don't have something different to add but if the question is interesting, I will star.
