The suffix "pedia" is from the greek root paideia, meaning education, culture.
The prefix "Wiki" is derived from a word in the Hawaiian language meaning "fast, quick, speedy."
In the computer world, the term “wiki," has been made popular by community-driven resource websites since 2004 and it refers to a type of computer software that allows users to easily create, edit and link web pages using any Web browser.

The Scandinavian tradition of -son or -sen would have the female counterpart of -dotter. If her father's name was Hans, for example, she would be Helga Hansdotter, while her brothers would be Hansen. The women would get married and lose the last name with -dotter at the end. Maybe they were glad to get rid of it. Good luck, and don't try to invent anything crazy. Stick with what has worked for generations.
