I have LOVED both!!! Cats... Have a personalty that is similar to mine... They don't kiss ***... You have to earn their trust... They like to be alone BUT love affection (on their terms) They are low maintenance... And SO incredibly cute... Dogs... You must research to make sure they are a proper match... A lot of work... potentially dangerous... I had over 100 stitches in my leg from our own dog who attacked me (Doberman Pincher)... My brother had over 70 stitches from our neighbors German Shepard... He was lucky... the surgeon said it was 1 centimeter from puncturing his heart in which case he would not be here today... Funny because we were all talking about this tonight... My 3 year old was bitten in the face by our Miniature Collie two weeks ago... She now has a scar on her face and our dog is staying at my husbands work... It truly has been heart breaking for all involved (we had him for 10 years) and is part of our family but obviously my daughter comes first... SAD!!! If you are deciding between the two do your RESEARCH... Even having gone through all I have with dogs I still love them... They can be loyal and a friend... It is a huge commitment either way...
