I need a new graphics card for my computer and ideas?
any type...ATI or whatever and whats the best type you can get?

Nvidia 8800GT or ATI HD 3850 best price/peformance cards. They are cheaper then some of other cards like the 8800GTS but perform really well, much better. They're the cards you should look to get if you want to play all the latest games really fast with the nice graphics effects on.

Buy a Radeon, preferrably the 9550!
Nvidia's Gforce is junk and they have many problems with program crashes because the "price" is right, they are cheaply made.

Head over to http://www.nvidia.com/page/home.html and get a GeForce. There is no comparison, and the price is right.
