Take a seat, Eric. :o( About a month ago I was using my old computer like usual and then I tried to get into my email and this Microsoft code popped up and it was asking me for licensing information I didn't even know about since the PC was a gift. My parents didn't know because they are too old to remember. I went through my server's tech support and they said I would have to call Microsoft. Apparently Microsoft has outsourced all of their employees to New Dehli and I got this Indian woman and she was speaking so freaking fast I could barely keep up with her and she made me repeat the error code about a brazillion times and after three hours of, "I'm sorry, could you repeat that and please speak slower?" I was told I needed to get another Windows XP disk. So I dropped $100 on a new disk (luckily they had one left- all the rest were Vista and I did NOT want THAT worthless program. Anyway, I call India again, and spend another three hours doing basically the same thing. Afterwards, I am told my motherboard is fried. Thankfully, my father doesn't use his computer anymore and let me have his. And now everything is well. I was without Internet access for about three weeks and I was going through TORTURE. (It's a sad commentary about the society that we actually NEED Internet access now.) But now everything (crossing fingers) is great and my speakers work now too. But yes, my heart sank.

Yes. I saw on the news, my good friend, I hadn't seen her in about a year, but she was in a car wreck where the dump truck t-boned and S10 and the driver of the pickup died and a teen girl and 5 yr old were in serious condition. They identified her as the driver of the dump truck. I thought NO! She wouldn't drive a dump truck she's so girly. So I looked on the internet. It was her that died. And I also read that the pickup was on fire and she was pinned. It broke my heart. I'm still not over it.

Yeah, the news that my step-grandmother (Satan's little sister) was going to have heart surgery, and might not make it. I was NOT looking forward to a 10 hour drive for her funeral. She has been mean and spiteful to my mother and I, and I just really don't care. She actually had the nerve to tell my mother that I was going to Hell because I had joined the Army and listened to Rock music. I mean really! Her darling step son (my dad, whom she physically abused for years) fought in Vietnam with the Marine Corps, and was in a biker gang before that.
But I am now a Christian, and have tried to forgive her for that. But that doesn't mean that I have to like being around her just because we both believe in Jesus.
BTW, she pulled through the surgery just fine. Too darned mean to die yet, I guess.
