i cut a branch 2 years ago on my pet tree and the cut has been infected by boring insects and whenever it rains, which is a lot in Manila, water enters the hole and is rotting away the inside of my narra tree(our national tree in Phil., hard tree like Mahogany).pls. help I love this tree, it gives cool shades during the hot summer months .

spray it with insecticide first let dry out then fill with mortar or cement mix,then paint it to match the color of your tree.

You probably need the services of an arborist,
(tree Surgeon).
The rot and insects are already in there, and
just sealing them in won't solve the problem.
You've got to kill the rot and the insects before
you seal the hole.
Raid or something might settle the insects, but
I don't know how to kill the fungus without
hurting the tree. - The 'Doctor` will.

easiest way and it work,is tar pitch or any kind of roofing cement
