hey you~ ^^
well i don't think he's the BIIG bat but i think that torii hunter will contribute to the offense a lot.
i always liked torii hunter because he always has a smile and is always joking or just having a good time :)
he also seems very enthusiastic about being in the angels

I believe this signing has really put the Twins over the hump. I'm a Giants fan and I hoped they would get him, but the Angels have been one of my favorite franchises in the last couple of years. Anyways I believe Hunter gives the Twins a versatile hitter. He hits for good power, great average, and has the ability to drive in runs. He could bat leadoff, cleanup, in the 3 hole or anywhere else. I also believe the Twins also have the greatest offensive and defensive outfield in all of baseball. I mean think of it defensively. Gary Matthews was the second best centerfielder in my opinion last year only behind Hunter. Matthews will dominate leftfield easily, and Vlad has the strongest arm in baseball I believe. Vlad might be able to lead the league in throwouts, and is an underrated fielder. Obviously, offensively their outfield is great. Vlad and Tori are going to be some of the top hitters this coming year. Matthews has some pop in his bat as well. The Angels as a team have a good defense and pitching staff, and now they should have a decent offense. I honestly can see the Angels winning the world series and I hope they do. The Angels have always been a respectful franchise. The Angels have proven you don't need to spend 250 million dollars on a player like A-Rod to win a world series. That's why I hope they do win a world series.

Hunter helps the Angels offensively. They now have Matthews leading off, an unknown batting second now that Cabrera is gone, Vladi third, Hunter fourth, and Kotchman fifth. Is that as scary as Padroia, Youkilis, Ortiz, Ramirez, Lowell, Drew and Varitek? No.
The Angels are still in the process of acquiring the 2008 team. They need a shortstop to replace Cabrera's glove and bat. They still might be interested in Miguel Cabrera, which will cost them young arms and bats. Too early to tell.

Offensively -- absolutely
Anderson, Vlad, and Hunter all provide middle of the order power. The only team that is comparable would be the Tigers with Sheffield, Granderson, and Ordonez.
Matching them up though.
Vlad vs Mags
Granderson vs Hunter
Anderson vs Sheff
its close but i think the Angels get the slight edge.
defensively though...doubtful.
Id look at the Tribe and there platoon assignment, excluding Nixon of course.

Greg Matthews Jr. doesn't have his HGH and is over the hill. All reports say he will play a backup role in 2008. Plus look at these facts.

Angels better hope they win it this year. If not that outfield becomes very old and very expensive very quickly.
