True friends would never do that. I've never had a friend do that to me but im sure if they did, i'd be crushed.

Anyone that I thought was a true friend will leave an empty spot.
I say " see ya " to ones that I never really thought were good friends to start with.

Some so-called friendships are more difficult to bring closure to than others. If you really believed in that person and the bond that you shared...the deception hurts. A real friend would not leave you.

At first I feel a little bit saddened, but then I think - well, I don't want that kind of friend anyways, so "see-ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!"

It depends on how dear they were to you.
I have lost several dear friends and dear pets, and they left a definite whole in my heart and in my life's routine. It has been several years and I still miss them all greatly.

Perhaps for a little while but eventually you realise that you're better off without people like that anyways.
