Bill O'Reilly claims that Pat Robertson's endorsement of Rudy makes him indestructible.

I think it will be an Obama vs Huckabee general election. Your thoughts please.

Huckabee is a longshot. Then again, Hillary looked like a shure thing, until the gloves came off. It's clear that the party commissars have decided against her. That she's trailing in a caucus state, now, is no surprise, the caucus states are where the party has the most say - what is a little surprising to me is that it is Obama, not Edwards, who has aparently gotten the nod from On High.

As far as the nearly irrellevant Republican nomination goes, Guiliani seems to be the favored sacrificial lamb (or old goat, whatever). It certainly doesn't seem like a nomination that anyone's fighting particularly hard for. The damage done to the party by the Iraq War is going to take a long time to repair.

I think it will be a close toss up between Romney and Giuliani. Hillary will eat Huckabee for breakfast and he won't get the support he needs to be the defeatist of the Hillary machine. Giuliani has been hurt bad in the last couple of weeks and Romney is going to start looking like the one that can beat Hillary. Personally I just don't think this is Obama's time. He should run again though in a few years. It might make all the difference for him. I see a Romney/Huckabee ticket vs. a Clinton/Obama ticket.

Old time religion meets the woman and the black man. This could be very interesting.
I also think this will be the tactic they will use against Hillary and Obama. The republican party base will see this as the only way to bring Clinton down is through religious issues and Giuliani won't fit the picture.

I think it is in Bill O'Reilly's (fox new's) best interest for HIllary to win because so many Republicans hate her. This would do a lot to energize the base. I personally am really sick of all news outlets pontificating on the future, as if they have gotten in right the last 2 elections. I think the media does a good job of planting seeds for candidates. These seeds are sewn by individuals who would base their opinion on what an O'Reilly or a Chris Matthews might say.

I don't think any can claim to be a shoe-in yet. We're still what, 40 days from Iowa and 50 from super Tuesday? A lot of things can happen between now and the conventions. As far as Pat Robertson's endorsement of Rudy making him indestructible, I think that's crap. Pat Robertson doesn't represent all of the conservatives, not even close to all the Christian conservatives. If it came down to Rudy against Hillary of Obama, I'd vote for Rudy, but as far as the Rep. primary, I plan to vote for 1)Huckabee, 2) Romney or 3) Thompson.

Huckabee can't win. He looks appealing right now because he's fresh and he's done well despite critics. But the bottom line is in the Republican party you pay certain dues and he hasn't paid them. If his campaign starts going gangbusters maybe he can pull it out but I doubt it. Huckabee while an affable fellow is also very thin-skinned and he had a very tempetuous relationship with the media and his wife is very controversial.

I hate to agree with O'Reilly (whom I despise) but right now it does look like Giuliani and Hillary will be the nominees but if Judith Regan's allegations are true and she has evidence of wide spread corruption while Rudy was Mayor, well time will tell if he can recover. Right now Rudy has Murdoch and that's powerful.

No Bill O'reilly is just trying to prop up Giuliani, because Hillary has already been selected by the elite to be president, through a staged election or vote fraud if necessary.

Don't believe government propagandists people! You're being duped into voting for more war in 08! Watch this video to find out how!

Bill-O is only repeating what the mainstream media has been parroting for months already. Quite ironic for such a pundit to disparage the mainstream "liberal" media while, at the same time, using it as source material to devise his talking points.

However, Bill-O is wrong on the issue of Pat Robertson's endorsement, which is likely to turn away a lot of independents and moderates from Giuliani, not towards him.

I know it'll be Rudy. I hope it'll also be Hillary, so I can watch the debates and be thoroughly entertained.
