I don't under stand it either, you pretty much have two options here. You could either just stand your ground and ignore their rules or you could compromise and go with dark colors such as dark blues, maybe deep reds...

Well some people are more the type to wear black. But obviously in your circles it's not so accepted, which is great! That gives you the opportunity to let loose and buy whatever! Don't be afraid to be bold. This era is the "anything goes era" and it's really like that. If you're confident and stand up straight you can look good in the weirdest things. So let your imagination run wild and buy fun clothes! Happy shopping!

it sounds like ur more of the "i do what i want, when i want" type of person, which is perfectly fine. i'm 14, so i get what you mean. you can still wear other colors, like just white t's, but go to places like hot topic, they have a huge variety of band t-shirts. i love band t's, and they look great on cute guys! lol

tell your parents to leave you alone ? lol sorry but thats bout it, learn to tune them out, if you like how you dress then don't pay attention to your parents. Parents always want those children who were like born in a whole other century... meh wear what you wanna wear

ALL of my clothes are black except for jeans. I throw in some color though, like jewelery or make up. Try adding some color. But be yourself, you are who you are.

believe it or not, (even if i'm a girl) i had the same problem too! my parents wouldn't let me wear wat i wanted to wear and they made me wear wat they THOUGHT was fine and good. but one day, i took a stand. tell ure parents that ure growing up. they can't control wat u should put on. do watever it takes to make them believe that it's wats best 4 u (parents love that) but w/e u do, don't compare ure fashion to other kids who wear the same thing (parents hate that) they care wats best 4 u and not other kids. well, maybe they do, but still. basicaly, tell them ure in high school and they have no control over wat ure wearing (as long as u dress seaonly). and just a lil' thing 4 u, girls love guys who dress in dark colors. i no i do!
