JR Smith apparently doesn't understand that most people don't want a movie's ending given away before they see it, and want to make up their own minds.

I'm just glad I already saw it in the theater before reading that comment. I would be a lot more upset at someone ruining the movie than at the movie if I didn't like the ending.

I would still suggest it, it's a great Stephen King adaptation, and having a polarizing ending just makes it that much more memorable.

If you don't like it, you can always re-author the DVD when it comes out with movie editing software.

Don't go to the theater. Don't see it. It is great up until the end and it has the worst ending in movie history. See No Country For Old Men. See Hitman. They should be good. People were leaving the theater pissed at the ending. David Drayton shoots his son and the survivors in an attempt to save them from the creatures hiding in the Mist and attempts to sacrifice himself only to see the Army in tanks pulling along survivors and he goes mad at the end. I wanted my money back. I felt worse after seeing it. Thats not the way it supposed to be. Horror can be tough and smart and lethal, but thats just dumb.
