I felt Dean had a good platform and the experience, but the media turned on him in one day. This makes me think he might not have been in someones pocket. Actually what he did would have been ok and has been done before. I assume it had to do with Teddy's group and that they wanted a local boy and not someone from Rhode Island. Sorta like Kerry. Some say it was the 'war hero vs the "Air National Guard guy". I still felt that was a lark. For whatever reason it looks like they ruined their chances. You never know as he is the committee chairman. Then again the chairman of the RNC was Halley Barber, a.k.a. "Pork Chop Gov." (per Savage). Hindsight is always right. What's wrong with Biden or Dennis K? To radical? Take care. Weak slate this yaer for all.

I liked him all along Richard, both before and AFTER the "I Have A Scream" speech. What's wrong with a candidate that shows a little passion---why is acting like a self-controlled robot considered preferable in a presidential candidate? (Re: John Kerry, whom I did NOT vote for.)
I think Dean could have handily beat Bush; I would have voted for him had he been the candidate. As it was, Ralph Nader got my vote for the third time.

Howard Dean is radical far-left socialist and didn't do a good enough job of hiding it..........that is what killed his career. Mrs Bill Clinton is also a radical far-left socialist, but is doing a better job of hiding her true colors.

He had a lot of other problems before his "Byaaaaahhh!!!!!"
Like the fact that bland populism has never gotten a candidate elected.
