It would be about 60 degrees C hotter than the average temperature on earth (which is currently 8 degrees C). Can´t remember where I read this though. But if there was also as much water on Venus as there is on earth it wouldn´t matter. If we were to move earth to the same distance from the sun as Venus, earth would become Venus...

Venus problem is not only high temperature but the high pressure that to my knowledge may exceed 10 times as much as the earth crushing everything in it . this makes temperature even hotter . the reason for high pressure is that a column of air is full of particles from the continuous volcanoes that keep erupting because of it's proximity to the sun but things may not have been so bad in the past . Venus may have had what looks like two continents before with the rest of the surface covered by water . it may had life before temperatures went soaring . no humans or machines as far as i know can land on Venus to study the planet because everything will be crushed by the pressure .

Because Venus is closer to the Sun than Earth, sunlight is about 80% more intense there. I did a rough calculation using Stefan's law with 80% more energy from the Sun hitting Earth and decided it would be about 50 C (90 F) warmer than it is now. That is just a very rough estimate though.

atmosphere like earth would need a temperature profile and pattern like Earth. Though it is not possible , due to its proximity to sun, we may have tough and thick skinned people living on venus. They can easily live at 100 degree centigrade. Of course there scale of heat would be different than ours!!

Certainly considerably less than the current 900 degrees. It still wouldn't be a good place to try and live though because of Venus's closer proximity to the sun.

with a similar atmospheric composition, and levels of water, Venus would be a warmer analogue.....likely tropical climate at the poles, gradually drying out to desert at the equator, also, the weather would be more turbulet due to Venus orbiting at the inner edge of the Sun's habitable zone......

no doubt it would be much cooler, but du know how hot earth is in the summer? 40C in chicago here. imagine if earth is in the place of venus, it would be like 80C+ in the summer. i dont think that is comfortable. so it would be much cooler but hotter than earth

Exactly like Earth's, otherwise, it couldn't possibly be exactly like Earth's.
