My own experiences, at a very young age (age 4 or so, and up). Ever since I can remember, I have been able to feel and see those who have passed from my family --even those prior to my birth.
As a very young child, I have had encounters with my father's mother, whom I could describe, despite never meeting or never seeing in photos, etc. -- not only could I describe her, I could feel her presence, as well as smell roses or food being cooked whenever she was around.
I have also had encounters with my mother's nephew who died in the Vietnam war -- he used to walk through our house, dressed in full uniform. On my first encounter with him, I ran to my mother (who was in the backyard) asking if she saw the man who walked through the house. She, of course said "no." As I grew older, I realized that the man was my cousin.
At the age of 12, I had encouters with my father, whom I never really knew (he left when I was around 5, and died shortly before this experience). I was laying in bed one night, watching my mother get ready for work, and he came to me -- he told me he loved me and was sorry that he had not been there for me.
Later, I had encounters with my mother's mother and sister. Neither of the encounters were positive.
I have also seen and felt my deceased cat, Tiny.
And, recently, both my mother and I have felt a presence in our new home. We have also heard footsteps above us, when we are downstairs, and have heard someone crying.
I truly believe that there is life after death, and in order for that life to be full of love and joy, we must attempt to live with such here on Earth.

well, i have 4 children. the last was my only boy living. the second time i got pregnant i went into labor prematurely they made we wait in emergency to long. to stop the contraction. my second child, a boy died on a gurney in the hall way of the ER. that was in 90' I had 3 kids after that. when my son was18 months he would play by his self in the corner and wave and laugh at nothing. years went by and now my son was 8. we were looking for a bed for him and he insisted that he have a full size bed or bunk beds. i asked him. why he said that his big brother need a place to sleep so he wouldn't have to go back to heaven all the time. he did not know about his brother. it was to painfull to discuss. His brother would have had a different father than him. a man that had been seen for 2 years before he was conceived. he describe this man to a tee the way he would look if her were the age my son would have been. my son is now 13 and he said that he doesn't see him anymore only in his dreams. his brother told him he had to be someone else now.

I've always loved the unknown and the unexplained. I really like to hold on to what people call fiction. I believe that anything is possible and ghosts are real. Even if someone is a skeptic, they can't deny the billions of experiences, feelings and occurrences that people go through.

My own experience lead me to start my own investigations. I moved in with my now husband and the doors to our apartment would open and close on thier own and we saw several mists in pictures we would take. The kicker though happened that December when we were getting the christmas decorations down I felt like something shoved me. Apon looking at my back there was a red mark. Needless to say we dont live in that apartment but our current house also has activity but they seem to be children spirits. I am a firm beliver.

I was 4yrs old when i seen my first one,me and my mom were cleaning out one of their rent houses, let me tell you about the house first, their was a hump in the floor no matter how many times my dad tried to fix it,it would reappear after a few hours not days, anyhow, that day i looked up and saw a man in full military uniform standing their with a bottle of something in his hand i asked my mom;who is that man my mom turned around saw the man screamed and got the hell outta there but i was too young to understand then, but when i was 12 i used to have a lot of stuffed animals on my bed, well i went to make a sandwich but when i got back all my dolls were at the other end at first i thought i was tripping bu when i put the back in place and left out of my room again and came back they were moved again, that time i got the hell outta that house and waited on my mom to get home, she thought i was lying until she got a rude awakening herself later that night.her shoes took off walking by themselves needless to say my mom didn't play around with things like that so we moved out,but I've had more things happen but that what made me a believer.

When I was 16 and I woke up in the middle of the night and heard the file cabinets in my dads office (against my wall) open and close over and over - so I went to see why he was awake and the cabinets were open, but I could hear him snoring in his room across the hall. So I went back to bed a little freaked... then I heard it again - and went and looked again... cabinets were closed - dad still snoring. Searched the house. Nothing. Went back to bed freaked. Finally fell asleep. Woke up 5:AM - felt tugging on my blankets. My blanket slowly inched down from my neck to my feet and just stopped... I was petrified. I hear crumpling paper noises on the floor...and then it just stopped. I laid there 10 minuted then jumped up and bolted out the door. I was sitting in the living room with all the lights on wrapped in a blanket on the couch EXTREMELY freaked... then the blender in the kitchen came on by itself. I left the house and drove to a friends house and wouldn't go home for weeks. When I did it was to pack up my stuff and move out. My dad STILL thinks I am making it up... I am 32 years old now.

I can usually see them. Sometimes talk to them. I usually find it more annoying than fascinating.
As silly as it may sound, I had a pet hamster come back to visit several times after he died. Since I worked nights he and I spent a lot time together on my off days so we were as close as a human and a hamster could be I guess.

i cannot see ghosts... but i always wished to see one. but i can kind of sense if they are there. the feeling is so overpowering. if i go to a house or some place.. i can have the feeling that it is unclean. i think many people have this sort of feeling.
moreover, in my family...all those children who are the eldest have the ability to see ghosts. so i kind of believe whatever they say... cos they really can see them.
