What about having a shower with him..would that help? That way, you both get clean, and then the fun can begin!
Sorry, but that is gross. Has he always been lacking in the clean department?
If it is bothering you that much, you just have to keep telling him that every time he wants to get intimate.
Hopefully, he will start to realize this is not a good way to go.

Talk to him but not when he's about to go to bed. Do it over dinner or whatever so that he doesn't feel like you're putting him on the spot and give him your reasons and tell him that his lack of hygene is affecting your relationship and you think it's stupid that something as simple as being clean and taking a shower is causing that.

From all the answers posted the two best pieces of advice are withhold sex and put him out of the bedroom or....take a shower with him! That would be my choice, and make sure tou have some if that Irish Spring soap..it really cuts body odor. I'm sorry you are faced with this. Is it possible that his nose is flawed and actually can't smell himself? Might be worth looking into.

Make him sleep in another room. That's just nasty.
I'm a cross country trucker, and I get a shower daily and I have to drive up to 20 hrs a day 4 weeks at a time before I get time off.

Why does he think it's OK to go so long without a shower? And if it's an issue for you it should be addressed by him. If he can't do that, he's not respecting you and he has even bigger problems. He has to be willing to contribute to the relationship....and asking him to shower IS NOT asking too much!!

You need to be open with him and let him know that your bed is his bed but only if he is clean. If he respects you he will take a hint, if he does not respect your request your marriage has more problems than what can be discussed here. Good luck.

Well all I can say is keep telling him it is a problem for you... that it makes you uncomfortable. If he loves you he will get the hint and start taking better care of himself.

That's bad, when a person goes all "Viking" on you. I'm not sure what to say. But to tell him to take a bath.

Boy. You told him that he smells bad and he still doesn't get it? Hang those little tree air fresheners in your room everywhere. Maybe then he'll get it.
