I totally agree with your answer...however I also have a daughter and I would hope I'd be able to hold and kiss her as well and tell them both how much I love them and how much they both enriched my life!

Take a really good look at him (so I won't forget what he looks like....tends to happen...I have a bad memory of faces), give him a hug, and say goodbye. Nothing too serious. All that matters is that he's happy. I don't care that he's not with me.
