I guess I am missing something here. Why do you have to do what your boyfriend's step mother tells you to do? Why do you have to do work for her? Are you living in her house? If so then I see why she expects you to help. You have to keep the peace. If you are not living in her house, just don't show up and don't answer the phone. Turn it off and get the sleep you need. In this case, your work comes first and healthy sleep. Next year do not take on 3 jobs. It's too much for anyone to do. There is NO rule that says you have to celebrate Thanksgiving. Skip it this year. Don't let people push you around. Do what YOU want to do.

Twas the night of Thanksgiving, and I just couldn't sleep
so I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.
The leftovers beckoned--the dark meat and white
but I fought the temptation with all of my might.
Tossing and turning with great anticipation,
the thought of a snack became a huge infatuation.
So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door
and gazed at the fridge, filled with goodies galore.
I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
then pickles and carrots, and beans and tomatoes.
I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
'till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.
I crashed through the ceiling, and floated into the sky
with a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.
But I managed to yell as I soared past the trees.
Happy eating to all--pass the cranberries, please.
May your stuffing be tasty, may your turkey be plump
May your potatoes 'n gravy have nary a lump]
May your yams be delicious, may our pies take the prize
May your Thanksgiving dinner stay off of your thighs.
:)

Barely.
The greens weren't good, the rolls were ok, the lasagna was abysmal which is my favorite dish, the ham was delicious, the corn was good but who could mess that stuff up?, the rice was OK and turkey isn't going anywhere near my mouth for it's too dry!
I hated this day. I slept in till almost 5 P.M. and my mom *********.e.d. and *********.e.d. us silly but some of my family was near so that was good. I plan on house-hoppin' for real tomorrow though.
There is actually good food to eat, I suppose!
:-D

Yes, quite well, thank you! No fights, I didn't overeat, and ended up watching some great comediennes with my family so we all laughed and gabbed the night away.
I wish I didn't have to get up for work tomorrow!

Define "survive". I am alive, not quite whole, and possibly blind in one eye (still trying to walk that off) but I'm alive.

I would be dead on the side of the road, but I had to go to work so that saved me. =)
