You don't have to be superstitious to realize that walking around ladders is smart. Walking under ladders is dangerous, I'm not talking about superstition. I've worked with ladders a lot and it's safer to go around them. It always amazes me at how many people will walk under a ladder. DON"T WALK UNDER LADDERS! People have gotten hurt!

If they are really tall ones, then just I go under them...I used to be a little superstitious, but now I think, how could something bad happen to me just because I walked under a ladder, or because I just opened my umbrella indoors?..I can't let silly things like that control what I do in life...Bad things happen to everyone whether they walk under a ladder or not..=) ya know what I mean?

I don't walk under ladders ... but not because I'm supersticious or anything but because there hasn't been a ladder to walk around or under... If there was a ladder I think I would walk around but again not because I'm supersticious just because I don't feel the need to walk under a ladder..

If the ladder is up I have been known to walk under them. If they are lying down I don't try to limbo under them. I go around.

Whichever way gets me where I'm going the easiest.
My son always goes up and over any ladder he sees. But then, he's 2.
