i have downloaded and installed Ad-awre 2007 few months ago . i want to remove it through add-remove of window but can not do so, it show internal error 2738 during installation

just remove it from the program files folder. then use a reg cleaner.
or you can reinstall the program again then uninstall it.

There should be an uninstall option with Ad-Aware 2007. Is there any reason you can't use that and wanted to use add/remove programs?
Go to Start Menu > All Programs > LavaSoft > Ad Aware 2007 > Uninstall
That should work for you
