There is no white Friday, its called balck friday because The term Black Friday was first used to describe Sept. 24, 1869, when several financiers had tried to corner the gold market and the market crashed, and a depression ensued. Another panic in the financial markets in 1873 also began on a Friday.

Black Friday referrers to the first day of the year when the stores go out of the "red" (debt) and into "black" (profit). There is no White Friday.

I guess a day after a bit snow storm and nobody could get out shopping, so all the stores panic that nobody is buying anything, so they have to come up with white Friday.
