defense because you really do not know what the offense is going to do. you are just guessing. on offense you know what you are supposed to do and where to go.

good question. for football definately offense, you have routes to run and more pressure. on defense you have man, zone or blitz, and you follow the guy. easier said than done though. Hockey it has to be defense. theres only like 7 or 8 top defenseman like lidstrom, pronger and a few more. on offense there are a ton of superstars. such as crosby,ovechkin,spezza,heatley,thorton,zetterburg,jagr,
modano,malkin,alfredsson,iginla,forsberg,kariya i can go on and on.
