If you really have to, run on your toes, but it is not good for your shoes and you have to balance like crazy. My recommendation is not to run in heels at all, it is so not a good look. If it is late and you have to run, take the heels off, you will be faster and more comfortable, your shoes will be safer, but you will absolutely ruin your hose.

Well depends what kind .. if you are just starting to learn (lol) then I guess you shouldn't try the ones too high, and start off slow first. And if you need to run in high ones then it's gonna hurt. There isn't really a way to learn it, just practice it?
Did you watch the High Heels Run Contest.. people tripped and fell and like die.. but pros run like they have running shoes:) ... practice practice:) Just balance yourself and don't make yourself fall !!

Why? Is it becoming an Olympic sport? Why would you want to go to all the trouble of learning how run in high heels? I am confused. Wouldn't it be much easier to simply take them off?
???????????

start in sloooooooooow gentle strides. try running like a ballerina at first, you can even try running with two cups of water to learn balance and softness. then gradually increase speed.

You have to lean forward and land on the balls of your feet avoiding the heels completely. I don't recommend it for regular use......just if you need to catch a train or something.

Try landing on your toes. Tippy toe run. That is how, other wise you will break your heal and ruin your shoes. I don't suggest running in heels though. That can really do damage to your body and most importantly, your SHOES!!!

and then you can run!
