I understand what you mean, but be honest with yourself; can you return those feelings with mutual respect? and how would you feel if you said to someone that you loved them and they did as you are doing...asking the question that you are. When you think in terms of being the other person it's easy to care enough not to lead him on. How would you want to be treated? Think about that and u will do what's right. I know you can do it!

The answer lies in the question. Why are you breaking up with him? If it's becasue you simply don't love him (for whatever reason) there is no point hanging on. Love is a two-way street, not a one-way street. If you don't love him, you should end it. Perpetuating the situation will just make things worse and the inevtable will happen anyway.

Sometimes, there just can never be a graceful exit. We just have to let love take its course and hurt those who been caught in it and leave us with the cold hard fact that there will never be an easy way to break someone's heart.
Love, even in all its color and splendor can still cast a storm in our lives and sometimes cause great emotional destruction. Let us always remember that there is no love without pain. There is no reward without sacrifice.

If he is really sweet and you don't love him. Tell him.. He deserves someone that does. You will probably end up with someone that treats you like crap. You will always wonder why you didn't love the other guy. Be real with him though. He deserves someone special.

if u want to break up with someone just tell them y u think the relationship won't work out anymore just make sure u tell the truth so u dnt have to live with that for the rest of your life if u lie to him. If u still want to be friends with him he will have to trust you so the best thing really is to tell the truth, becuz u know u would want nothin but the truth from him if he was planning on breaking up with u, but he still wanted to be the best of friends.

I wish you would of said, why you wanted to break up with him. if there is not a reason, why would you want to do such a thing? I see you have said nothing bad about him. so you must like him, or you would never have started going with him. try to make things work out. if he has done nothing wrong.

dont listen to anyone. If you dont love him, break up with him. We are not gonna live your life, you are. So it is really your choice. Do listen to your heart always.
