where could i go to or how could i create a numbers generator and be able to program it to stop on certain past number sequences to develope a pattern for upcoming numbers

If I understand correctly, what you're looking for is a random number generator. In the Standard C Library, rand and srand provide this function. For better statistical properties on Unix, see if /dev/random is implemented. For Windoze, see CryptGenRandom.
