Its really not the END ALL of anything.

Its boring

Its a hassle

Its boring some more

Why do you women pretend that marriage is such a great thing?

I guess you have to take a stand somewhere in life after having all those promiscous single years.

Obviously you don't know all women, that makes your blanket generalized statement nothing more than an ASSumption on your part which makes you look even less intelligent than your obviously limited IQ allows for.

As far as marriage being boring to you...of course it would be boring to you...you ARE boring and those who ARE boring tend to be bored most of the time.

As as 40 something year old woman who has been married and now divorced i can say this..
Marriage may not be the "END ALL" as you put it but at the same time it's not the most boring and hassle laden either.
I had a long single life and a fairly long married life (15 years) and i can honestly say i would choose marriage over "singledom" anytime.
Married life to me is much nicer, more comforting, more fun than single life.
Single life when you're in your 20's can be great. And i had my fun in my 20's when i was single (wouldnt trade it for the world).
But as you get older you realize there are different kinds of fun. Fun with your spouse, with a few close friends and their spouses, fun with your children, fun with other relatives close and distant, and yes even fun with those that are still single.
When i compare this to my single life i can say, hands down, that married life for me was and is better.
The problem i had was that i was married to a man that felt fun should also include "other women" and he stepped out of the bounds of our marriage and his vows.
You see marriage is not for everyone. And i do believe that there are some men that should be alone forever and not married to any one woman. These men are the ones which always wonder if life is better on the "other side" IE: "Single side".
Ironically my ex-husband came to regret his straying ways since he's now single and HATES IT.
He would rather be married than single and lonely or always on the "prowl". Because you see when you are single you will typically suffer from three conditions--
1)Loneliness
and/or
2)Getting hurt emotionally as you frequently travel from one relationship to the next
and/or
3) Always on the "prowl" in order to get your physical and emotional needs met.

I guess you must have "Mommy issues" if you think all women sleep around. (did she forget to cook today? or she went to her new b/f's momma's house and you were not invited?) Call your mother and ask for a hug.

But to answer your question, I do not think marriage is ALL that. I have been married. I got divorced. Now I have a man that I have been with 8 years (NOT MARRIED) and I'm happy with that.
But call your mother and get that hug; if she's not in the club with the many men she brings home.

You're an idiot. Do some research before making assumptions. Not all women wish to get married; especially in today's society. Many are perfectly happy being single.

You certainly have a negative view of women. And if you don't wish to marry, don't do it. Guess you aren't promiscuous at all, are you?

Women think that marriage is a very important thing because it's based on trust. That woman has probably found her one true love and it's a very important thing by her point of view.

first of all..i did not need to get married..i chose to get married. i chose to because i couldnt see life without my husband..it would be boring without him. i aint gonna look cute if im 40 and still getting drunk and trying to pick up men at the club. i made a choice to grow up a little and put someone else's needs before mine.
marriage is not boring. on the contrary...i can have sex with him whenever im in the mood, i have someone to be silly with all day and an automatic partner in crime.
and i know that when im old...i'll have someone there that will take care of me. my aunt died of cancer and her husband was there holding her hand with tears in his eyes and lovingly giving her a sponge bath when she was too weak to care for herself.
marriage is beautiful thing...if you make it that way. if not, you can be that lonely old weird dude at the bar trying to pick up young chicks that have had too much to drink.

From the time females are born until they become women, they are socialized to think they need someone to take care of them and provide for them. Fairy tales and stories, movies, all portray the perfect marriage with prince charming who will take care of the poor helpless woman.

They don't realize they can be just as independent as a man and don't need marriage to form a lasting, caring, loving relationship with someone.

If you really want to pick on a woman, pick on my wife. But have the balls to do it in person! Are you really so afraid that you have to hide behind a key board?

You should be afraid. My wife would hurt you real bad. God I love her!

Good luck.

Boring is when you find yourself old and alone, and no one wants you anymore.
