A parallelogram has two pairs of angles for the corners which total to 360 degrees (inside angles). [Think of a rectangle that is partly mashed over sideways]. So, if one corner is X there will be a second corner measuring X and 2 corners that each measure (180-X)

Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal. If one angle is x the angle opposite is also x. The other 2 angles would be (180 - x). The sum of the angles of a parallelogram are 360 degrees.
x + x + 180 -x + 180 -x = 360
