Prevention

Get your prostate checked yearly after age 40
• Eat right. Studies show that people who eat a high fat diet have a greater risk of developing prostate cancer. On the other hand, fiber, soy protein, fruits, and cooked tomatoes have all been shown to reduce risk.
• Watch your weight. Obesity may be a contributing factor to a number of cancers, including prostate.
• Exercise regularly
• Don’t smoke
• Limit alcohol and avoid caffeine.
• Drink a lot of water. This can help flush out your bladder. Urine should be almost clear.
• Have regular sex. The best way to empty the prostate is to ejaculate.

• Consult your doctor about other prevention tips.

Check with a good health food store!
Most health care professionals (even in the USA) recommend "sawpalmetto" but "pygeum" and "pupmkin seed oil" also are beneficial. After working in the industry for several years I have seen amazing results from all of these products and combinations of these products.

A zinc supplement every day would help and also tomatoes, especially cooked tomatoes, as they contain the enzyme or antioxidant lycopene which is very good for prostate health.

A men's multivitamin every day might be useful as well as they often contain components that enhance prostate health.

Just stay healthy in general diet & excercise wise & get it checked once a year. Its not pleasent as we all know but better 5 minutes of discomfort than the alternative.
