...my weird "friend" to calm down? Whenever my other friend and I joke around, and it offends her, she'll start getting mad and starts yelling at us. I mean, I can't joke around her. She takes ALL jokes seriously. She is kinda spoiled and gets EVERYTHING she wants. I'm not sure if I can really call her a "friend." It's kind of weird that I have to act a diffrent way when she's around. How can I tell her that the jokes I say aren't true?? [ I don't make fun of her or anything ]

I think you should tell her straight up how you feel. If your with your other friend and she gets all offended by your jokes, ask her why. Talk to her about it! If she gets mad, eventually she'll get over her stage!

I know the exact situation your in.
What you need to do is really tell her to cool down and tell her that jokes are jokes, and to give her a taste of how you feel, if she ever tries to say somthing funny, simply get mad at her like she does at you. She'll then say somthing like what you say when she does it to you. Once she has said that say "well thats what you always do when i make a little joke". She'll understand. Then simply talk to her in a calm mellow voice saying that you would appreciate it if she didn't take your jokes so seriousely, and tell her to remember that they are only jokes.
She is probably un-aware of this you need to tell her about what what she has been doing, because she might do this around other people to, and even if you decide to not be her friend anymore she still deserves to have some friends. And If she keeps this up she won't have any friends. So for the sake of the girl tell her that she does this and that she needs to stop. If it helps let her see this.

Just tell her right when it happens, that way you won't have to explain or point out any examples. The next time it happens Say hey Calm down! If you can't be yourself around her then maybe you shouldn't be hanging out with her. But definately tell her that you feel like you can't be yourself around her.

well obvously she isnt ur friend...you guys both have different personalities and she doesnt like it when you make jokes...you seem like an outgoing funny person and she is obviously a very serious person...so your characteristics dont go well with each other...just explain to her that you like to joke around and u r not being mean but, just playing...if she doesnt understand or doesnt listen...the dont call her ur friend

to start im pretty sure that there are some people that do not take jokes seriously.........have you tried telling her that you were just kidding...........and just tell her that "i will never make fun of you, ever" and if that doesnt work then im out of ideas
p.s try not to make jokes that are offensive to anyone
