Since ive been pretty much 4 ive always been fascinated with casinos, card games, slots and all that other stuff. My dream has always been to live in Vegas and work in a casino, most likely as a dealer or any other job which is in the casino in Vegas! I come from another country so when I was a kid I couldnt even imagine I could get this close to my dream, now Im in America and living in Virginia and almost finished with high school. When I told my parents what I want to do they laughed and me, screamed, called me a failure. They push me in every single way to go to college and become a lawyer, a doctor, an accountant. Yet I don't want to be any of those things. They dont want to listen and support my choice. I dont want to study for someone I dont want to be and be miserable for the rest of my life. I want to be happy and have the job I always wanted. Yet my parents dont listen to me.What should I do? Should I pack up and leave after high school? I completely refuse to give up my dream

Whatever you do, you need to grow up first. So cross that bridge when you get to it. Until then, cut your parents some slack and understand they only want the best for you. Love them! That's not so bad now is it?

When you are 18, do what you want to and enjoy!

Good luck.
