A blink is MUCH faster than the total time a 90mph fastball takes to travel 60' 6", if that's what you're asking.
300-400 millisecond (blink) compared to 4 tenths of a second (90 mph fastball.)
If you want just pure speed, again you blink MUCH faster than 90 miles per hour.

The blink of an eye. A fastball isn't nearly as fast.

A blink of a eye.
It takes 1 second, maybe even a little less to blink a eye.
A fastball does NOT reach the plate in 1 second or less.

I don't really understand your question
Well i was watching sport science thing and i think i hear you have less than 1 second to hit the ball so maybe if you blink really fast you have a chance

the blink is faster, but the ball gets too close for the eye and brain to process fast enough in the time it takes, rendering it essentially invisible to the naked eye, the time to blink is just before you swing, because you can't really see the fastball anyhow
