The best source for traditional vampire "lore" is the book Dracula. Free online and surprisingly excellent. Warning: it *does* start out very slow, but it gets *very* good before the end. This is the classic reference about vampires.

From that "reference"
1) Nothing to do with "7th son"
2) Vampires are repelled by fresh garlic blossoms (I guess that was too difficult for early movies - they just use garlic bulbs)
3) If I recall correctly, holy water caused vampires pain
4) Sunlight could kill, or at least severely weaken, Dracula (he was destroyed during the daytime).

You do realize vampires themselves are fiction, right?

The seventh son thing is bullplop, in that it has nothing whatsoever to do with vampires, but rather makes for a person with a supposedly extremely high aptitude for all things magical.

Garlic, holy water and sunlight are commonly held to be vampire repellents, yes.

Not necessarily, my husband is the only son of the 2nd son and from time to time he tries to bite my neck but he loves garlic and sunlight.
