Of all the British colonies that were given independence, hasn't America made the biggest balls up of them all? Isn't it time we took control again and sorted them out?

The UK is a monocacy.. this means that although the Queen is figurehead, the Monach can take control and absolve the elected Parliament if it all goes **** up....I bet you had this with GW!

No. It would not be good for Her Majesty to rule America, as America is having trouble ruling itself.
Don't hastle The Queen with such a disappointing country. What could be suggested however, is let the native ameicans rule their land again. It was theirs to begin with.

Firstly can I point out that I'm third party in this, I'm not British or American.
Secondly.. while it would be interesting to see Britain struggle to reclaim America (specifically USA of course, I heard there is a difference that Americans like to emphasise), it isn't sensible. No British government has ever even considered it in the past 10 years (otherwise it would hit news) and they definitely do not have the man power to do so.
However, a joint force of Britain, the middle-eastern countries against America, Australia, China, France (who also are unsupportive of many of USA's actions), Russia and Germany, Japan (whose military has been limited by America) and so on, America would not stand a chance.
Americans, beware. You are not the world's favourite country.

if the queen could take controle if the government went balls up, then how come she hasnt taken controle and dissolved the incompitent crooked wasters we ' laughingly call a government that we have now!!!....just how much!!! of a balls up do they have to make before being removed???? besides!! the way things are going, give it about ten years of the happy do gooders and pc brigade and America probably WILL be ruled by a Queen......(((smirk.)))

Why are people being nasty the Queen does an excellent job and I think she should have rule of America too she would make such a good difference we should have control again yes you wouldn't go far wrong with her

The queen has no power anymore. She is a figurehead. the Parliament and prime minister has the power.
America was not given its Independence, it won it, period. There is no question about it. America earned it's Independence twice, once during the revolution and again in 1812. America is not the socialistic disgrace of the Civilized world now is it? No, the UK is.
I suggest that you at least learn who has the power in your country. Perhaps then you will stop following the political ideologies similar to those of a retarded monkey.

Oh get REAL.... you guys would still be fighting the Nazi's if it weren't for the HELP you got from the USA.... there are only TWO foul ups in the uSA BUSH and CHENEY and they will only be around one more year... oh and you guys didn't GIVE us our independence--we FOUGHT and BEAT you for it.......Without the aid that the UNITED STATES has given to almost ALL the countries of the world, ALL those countries would be in worse shape NOW then they EVER were before...
