webb or peavy?

brandon webb or jake peavy and why.I say webby because he pitches in a hitter's park while jake peavy pitches in a pitcher's park.

I think Peavy because he's great away as well as at home. Just Because its a pitcher ballpark doesn't mean there aren't any hits. Peavy has better stats and he's more consistent. Although Peavy is better I still dislike the Padres!

One word: age

Jake Peavy as reached or even exceeded the level of pitching as Brandon Webb, but is two years younger. With a velocity breaking the century mark, Peavy gets my vote, easily. In a few years Brandon Webb will give way to age, and be a clone of Curt Schilling. Peavy still has not fulfilled his full potential and should continue to establish himself as the best pitcher in the bigs.

Come on man, even if Webb DOES pitch in a hitters park he still has a ERA in the 3's while Peavy has one in the 2's.

They are both excellent pitchers with the edge to Peavy this year. There have been seasons in the past where Webb has put together better numbers and I believe any team would love to have either one. However, if I had to go with just one for next year I would go with Peavy because of his consistency.

I don't know if I could say who is better they have both had Cy Young awards won in the past two years. They are both really good pitchers and have a bright future ahead of them

Peavy, He won the Cy Young Award Anonoumously (idk how to spell that [:) and he is just an amazing pitcher overall
