I have a Verizon LG VX5200 cell phone - I've had it for at least 2 years now.
Someone sent me a picture message today. When I tried to download it, the phone got stuck on the "Receiving Message" progress bar. It's been stuck like this for about 5 hours.
When I hit the End button, it says, "Cancelling Get Message," but nothing cancels. It eventually goes back to the Receiving Message screen.
I can't turn the phone off, and I can't use any of the other features. The only thing I can do is receive calls when someone calls me.
Help! What can I do?

Take the battery cover off and there should be a RESET button......

Remove the battery for a few seconds then replace it.

i'm no longer conscious of that kind telephone, yet attempt removing the battery thoroughly, and waiting a couple of minutes previously re-installation it. That used to paintings for my previous verizon telephone. reliable success!

take out the battery maybe then put it back in
