what ethics lie under these:
Cinderellla
Snow white
Three little Piggies
Red Riding hood
The Three Bears
Hansel and Gretal
any more? when you think about it, there must be ethical values behind them when thought logically? i know there;s a moral but what do you think the ethics are in them stories. feel free to add any others. thanks :) Even nersery rhymes will do too. like baa baa black sheep is known to be racist.
PS ethical meaning communism, violence, abuse etc. I dont look deep into things but its for a project and I need to get to the bottom of it to build a concept. lol

theres a project on ethics im doing and using of fairytales but i AM NOT LIKE THAT!!! if ppl one here think that. I thought using the concepet of fairytales could be good in a creative way and taking the mick out of it. So, when you think logically, is it or is it not? Yes or no? if so, how in each mentioned above. Please just dont say, 'oh its a fairytale' i want you to look beyond that and the stuff like its 'innocent' and look at it in an adult fashion, not with your child-like brain you did yonks ago. *wow...that was long* lol so...?

when they came out 40's 50's they probably were meant to be racist like the three bears prob a slave an instead of watching her sleep they hanged her I'm just saying alot of things are cleaned up to appear not so harsh {child friendly}. an there's alot of things that's just plain an straight to the point like snow white she lived with seven dwarfs so she's a garden tool or she could be a very good caregiver yeah caregiver. whatever. hansel an gretal could have been 2 hungry pudgy kids that ate all the time an when missing

Well they've taken away Christmas, (in some parts of England) We no longer have the "Robinson's golliwog" "Black Jacks "(sweets) Enid Blyton books, are banned in some schools, and yes, baa baa black sheep too has to go, so I guess it's only a matter of time before the mentioned fairy tales, that are part of our childhood, and British heritage will have to go. Even the name "FAIRY" tales could be classed as abusive to the Gay community, there is always SOMEONE,who will claim abuse in Britain!!!

They aren't racist, it's just political correctness gone mad. They are just kids Fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Baa Baa black sheep is a nersary rhyme about a black sheep. It's just the colour of the sheep. Black sheep exist in real life, so do white sheep. It's the colour of their wool.

It's a BLACK sheep for god's sake, it is NOT racist.
How would you describe a blackboard, black pudding, black paint, black eyed peas, What is the difference?
I am white, I would not consider it racist to call me white from anyone, nor would I be offended by white-wash, white fly, white heads, white collar workers.
I really despair, did you read that Sydney is trying to ban santas from saying Ho-Ho-Ho incase passing women think that they are being called whores?
World has gone absolutely mad.
