Yes, as a matter of fact,
I can explain this question.
We had the very same question
the first day of Philosophy class
back in the late 1970s
and it was to count as
30% of our grade.
The answer is quite simple: Because.
We had 45 minutes to come
up with this answer, I glanced around
the room and watch my fellow
classmates writing hot and heavy
on their paper. I wrote my name,
the date, the class, time of class and one word.
"Because."
Out of his 12 classes only 3 of us
gave him the correct answer.
Mine was one of them.
