Since you chose not to appear in court, the person evicting has won, therefore, you better start packing. Your not showing up, said you're not concerned, so good luck. Better get legal counsel.

You ARE evicted. You have a default judgment against you - so move out. You can possibly challenge the default judgment, but that just won't work for you. You already knew about the hearing & didn't show.

If you did not answer by that date, it is most likely that a judgement was entered against you. If you didn't seem to think you had a chance and never bothered to show up and gave no excuse, what else could they do?

Landlord will have obtained judgment against you and may apply a wide array of creditors' remedies to satisfy that judgment. If you later wish to contest the judgment or the remedies applied to satisfy it, it will be, as they say in Chambers, to laugh.

It means you have defaulted on your case and you will have to move. You probably have 72 hours.
