I think it's insane. I am half done with my shopping, and the rest will be done on a dot com. But you people make sure you get your brekky for the stamina!

I worked retail for the past 26 years ( at JCPenney) and had to be to work every Black Friday for the past 26 years . I had to be to work for 7:00 a.m. each year.This year i am not working.( I am a stay at home mom ). This year in my city (Lafayette,La) the mall is opening at 4:00 a.m. instead of 7:00 a.m.---- door buster deals until 1:00 p.m..
I will be sleeping late and don't plan on going shopping tomorrow.

There will be tons of people out and about long before 7AM. One department store has their mad rush opening at midnight on Thanksgiving offering $10 off with just a $20 purchase. The place will be mobbed.

Not at all! I will be going shopping but now at 5 or 6AM more like 9-10 am. I guess mainly because there's nothing in particular that I need to go buy.

I am so far away from my mom this year, and she's the one who'd drag my lazy butt out of bed to shop at unheard of hours. I browse ads, if I see stuff I think is a good deal, I go.
If not, I don't. I go about 9 AM.

My dad of all people is trying to convince me to go to Kohl's tomorrow at 4 am. I don't know what kind of gifts he can expect me to get for HIM there. They don't have guy things.
But honestly. All the stores here are opening at 4. Except Best Buy. They're opening at 5. Which isn't much better.

Try being on the OTHER side of the register on Black Friday. Most customers are nice, but we do get those with the "me first" attitude. Try that at five am!

I think its insane too! Kohl's is open at 4 am! I almost want to go, just to see who in their right mind would show up at 4am! But I don't feel like getting up that early!

I went one year for that. But after that I never do that again. and it hard now since I am single mom and don't bring my kids along and I am done with christmas shopping.

No freakin way! First time i ever went, some stupid woman tried to run over my daughter (who was 6 at the time) with her buggy, she almost got a buggy up her hiney! She didn't even apologize, people get way too into that stuff if you ask me! I will never go again.
